SHTF Gear holsters are designed to work with a specific handgun as set up from the factory. The use of trigger shoes or grip adapters, laser sights or any other alterations to the frame, or dimensions of the gun itself may cause improper holster fit and negligent discharge.
It is the user’s responsibility to personally check for holster compatibility using the appropriate handgun. It is also the user’s responsibility to regularly check the holster and its hardware for proper fit and function to ensure safe operation. Although SHTF Gear LLC attempts to fit the most current model handguns, manufacturers of handguns constantly update their product specifications. Slight manufacturing changes in a handgun model can affect the proper and safe fit of your handgun and holster.
Upon the receiving your SHTF Gear holster you should test for proper fit and function by placing the unloaded weapon in the holster to verify that it does not activate the trigger and that it fits properly. Ensure that the holster does not deactivate weapon safeties when used. Care must be taken to ensure that manual safeties are not disabled when holstering the weapon. Never place a loaded handgun in an SHTF Gear holster for an initial test fit or if the holster has been modified or damaged!
Do not rapidly holster a loaded handgun. Great care must be taken to ensure safe holstering of the handgun to avoid pointing the weapon at your body, disabling mechanical safeties, and possible activation of the trigger with the finger, holster, clothing, or other obstructions that may enter the trigger guard of the weapon.
If your holster becomes worn, loose, defective, or ill-fitting at any time, stop use immediately and contact SHTF Gear LLC for warranty coverage instructions. SHTF Gear LLC accepts no responsibility or liability for property damage, injuries, or death due to proper use or misuse of their product.

Lifetime Warranty: If the holster fails for any reason return it to us and we will replace or repair it. We require the return of the original holster, to protect ourselves from fraud. You are responsible for the cost shipping the original holster back to us, we pay to ship the new or repaired holster back to you. The warranty does not cover mistreatment or damage.
Free Replacement Clips for Life: If the clips lost their "spring" or becomes non functional for any reason we will replace them. As with the warranty we do require the original clips be returned in order to protect ourselves from fraud. The clip replacement warranty doesn't cover the chicago screws that hold the clips on. The screws need to be periodically tightened because they loosen up over time. Keeping the screws tightened is considered part of regular maintenance.
Only our line of ACE holsters are covered under the lifetime warranty. All other products come with a 30 day warranty with a 14 day return policy unless otherwise specified.
